A mixed media artist based in Eastbourne, Maddie aka Slimpystudios makes work centred around the mind, the feminine experience and spirituality.

Having graduated from Kingston University in 2023 with a degree in Illustration Animation, Maddie now works as an artist, exhibiting her work across Sussex.

Outside of her studio practice, Maddie also works as a workshop facilitator and graphic recorder.

The Trisha Collection

My latest collection of paintings, Trisha is a personification and abstraction of pain, bewilderment, and wonder.

The collection traces a journey into her mind, each work becoming more abstract as we delve deeper.

Through painting, textile and sculpture, I explore how the body and consciousness inhabit space, inviting viewers into Trisha’s psyche.
